The European Organic Congress organised by IFOAM Organics Europe and BOEWL took place from 1-3 July 2020 online.

Policy-makers and expert speakers updated about the latest policy developments, provide a platform for exchange, and discuss our vision for a post-pandemic Europe. The topics covered included the EU Organic Regulation, an Organic Action Plan, the reform of the Common Agricultural Policy, the Farm to Fork Strategy as well as possible scenarios for a European food and farming system.

High-level speakers from the European Commission, European Parliament and German Presidency of the Council of the European Union agree that organic farming is a part of the solution to tackle the biodiversity and climate crises, and to make our food system more resilient.
